My name is Richard Ray Beavo. I accepted Jesus as my Savior and became an adopted son of God in the latter part of 1958.
Forteen years old at the time, I was incarcerated in a juvenile detention facility when Jesus set my soul free.
Shortly thereafter He also provided for my physical freedom and over the years since that time He has continually provided for me as a perfect Father would provide for His own son.
Since that time so long ago I have experienced many ups and downs in my own life and in my relationship with my Heavenly Father.
In this book I share with my readers the things that promoted and helped my own relationship with God to grow closer, and the things that demoted and hindered the intimacy of that relationship.

For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Almost every day I learn something which helps me have a more TRUE knowledge of my Lord and Savior.
